At the Eastern Pennsylvania Energy Association, we believe everyone has the right to be warm and safe throughout the seasons. There are various organizations in our area that offer oil heating assistance to residents and homeowners who need it.

Upgrade & Save – Pennsylvania Home Heating Oil Rebates

Studies show that heating system upgrades can reduce your annual energy expenses by 30% and pay for themselves in just a few short years. Now, you can make that payback come even quicker and start saving immediately with the Upgrade & Save Pennsylvania’s Energy Efficiency and Safety Rebate Program. Through this program, you can receive:

  • Up to $500.00 for upgrades of existing oil-fired furnaces or boilers to high-efficiency models
  • Up to $500.00 for installation of a new aboveground oil storage tank to replace an aboveground or underground tank

Some restrictions do apply. There is a maximum of two rebates to any home address. Total rebate value per home address cannot exceed $500.00. Pennsylvania Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP)

LIHEAP helps low-income families pay their heating bills through energy assistance grants. In addition to LIHEAP, Crisis Grants are available to individuals who have an emergency situation and are at risk of losing their heat.
Situations include:

  • Broken heating systems or lines that need repair
  • Lack of home heating fuel oil
  • Termination of utility service

For emergency energy situations service is available 24 hours a day. For more information, contact your local County Assistance Office.
